Dogs have always been a part of my life. When I was young we had a mongrel & my eldest brother used to re home and retrain German Shepherds. I have, since then, had 6 Chow Chows, 7 collies & 2 Swedish Vallhunds. Training has always been a key as we had a multiple dog household, sometimes 3 & 4 at a time.

I got Tio, my 2nd Vallhund in 2023 which is when I discovered Four Paws & we have gone from KC puppy foundation to completing Bronze, Silver and gold in the KCGC dog scheme. Tio loves training and this is having a positive effect on my 2 collies, who have various issues. They have now started to engage and focus more as Tio seems to be having all the fun!

I strongly believe training should be a part of every dogs life, helping them & their owners to live a happy, well balanced life. The instructors at Four Paws have a wealth of expertise and experience & I am thrilled to be joining their instructor training programme.
