Please note that we have no means of receiving postal mail at our venue.

Joining Four Paws Dog Training is simple and welcoming – we’re here to help you and your dog take the first steps towards success together!

Step-by-Step Guide

  • Step 1: Get in Touch
    Email us at info@fourpawstraining.co.uk with your contact details and a little information about your dog. Let us know their age, breed, and any specific goals or challenges you’d like to work on – the more we know, the better we can match you to the perfect class.
  • Step 2: Personalised Follow-Up
    Once we receive your message, a friendly member of our team will contact you to discuss your needs, answer any questions, and provide details about upcoming classes and how to get started.
  • Step 3: Start Your Journey
    When everything’s arranged, you’ll attend your first class and begin your exciting training journey with us!

Our classes follow school calendar dates and run in structured terms starting in September, January, and April, giving you regular opportunities to join. With a well-deserved summer break, our schedule ensures both dogs and their owners have time to recharge.

Spaces are limited, so we recommend registering early to avoid disappointment.

How to Find Us at Hinksey Heights Golf Club

Find our dedicated training venue at Hinksey Heights Golf Club, Oxford OX1 5AB. Follow these directions based on your approach to ensure a smooth arrival:

From the South of Oxford

  1. Head north on the Oxford ring-road (A34).
  2. Take the exit for South Hinksey / Golf Club.
  3. Pass the left turn for the Garden Centre, then follow the road as it curves to the right.
  4. Immediately after the curve, turn left into the entrance for Hinksey Heights Golf Club.
  5. Drive up the Golf Club’s entrance road, passing two houses on your right.
  6. At the second house, turn right onto the track leading to our club.
  7. Note: The track is locked when the training site is not in use.

From the North of Oxford

  1. Head south on the Oxford ring-road (A34).
  2. Take the exit for South Hinksey / Golf Club.
  3. At the roundabout, turn left and cross the fly-over.
  4. Take the next right into the entrance for Hinksey Heights Golf Club.
  5. Drive up the Golf Club’s entrance road, passing two houses on your right.
  6. At the second house, turn right onto the track leading to our club.
  7. Note: The track is locked when the training site is not in use.

FAQ for Visitors

Here’s what you need to know when visiting our training site:

  • Outdoor Training Facilities: Our training site is located outdoors and features secure, enclosed compounds for a safe and controlled environment for you and your dog.
  • Parking: We have our own dedicated car park, conveniently close to the training area.
  • Clubhouse Amenities: The golf clubhouse is just a short walk away, offering access to toilet facilities, as well as drinks and food for purchase.
  • Scenic Walks: The surrounding area provides beautiful walks where you can enjoy time with your dog, either on-lead or off-lead, as appropriate. Please note that the golf club area is strictly on-lead.
