Jenny Henman

Jenny originally joined Four Paws at its first site in Weston on the Green with her dog, Paddy. Since then, she has trained three dogs, including her current puppy, Harley. Jenny and her husband, John, have cared for 13 dogs, eight of which were rescues.

Jenny recalls, 'It's hard to believe that when I was seven, we had a puppy, and I spent the first week standing on a chair because I was so scared of dogs.' Over the years, the club has greatly helped her with training, particularly one of her rescues who initially didn’t get along with other dogs. She has successfully trained Harley to his Bronze and Silver Awards and is now focusing on training her rescue dog, Kodie.
